Cutting from Front:  Weakens the arrow spine per table specs.  If the spine is too weak after cutting, length allowing, trim from rear to stiffen.  Front 9″ are constant diameter.  Do not cut more than 8 inches from front of arrow.

Cutting From Rear:  Stiffens arrow spine per table specs.  If the spine is too stiff after cutting, length allowing, trim from front to weaken.

Cutting equal parts from both ends will maintain the current spine.
